opens her first book-length collection of work. Trilogy of One and other poems,

once again to think of Frida Kahlo, and all the women warriors I have known, and know of.
I honor and applaud Barbara McKee’s metamorphosis. Trilogy of One will

The themes of McKee’s poetry and fiction lean toward the evolvement of disabled women in roles that society deems unobtainable.
